There are three different types of fugal sinus infections, and with each the symptoms (as well as the severity of the illness) vary. While it moves much more slowly than its invasive brother, chronic fungal sinusitis has the same destructive qualities. Another difference between the two is that those diagnosed with chronic fungal sinusitis have a normal immune system. Its symptoms, much like the others, mimic those of bacterial sinusitis however upon examination mold spores and dying tissue are found.
