You may experience pain in your back teeth and jaw when you lean your head forward which is easily confused with dental pain. As mentioned before facial swelling and pain around your cheeks is common. ACUTE/CHRONIC MAXILLARY SINUSITIS Acute sinusitis of the maxillary sinuses will be apparent if you are discharging yellow or green pus from your nose. In more serious cases you can develop a toothache or a fever and chills, this is a sign that the infection has spread to other parts of your body and if left untreated this can cause your face to swell around your eye, which can advance at a quick pace and lead to blindness. It is recommended to speak to a physician immediately if you are experiencing any of these symptoms.
